Direct from Chicago, Martin Looter presents his atomospheric radio play "The Consul Comes to Haiti," based on Lowry's unfinished novel La Mordida.  He is assisted by the inimitable Sally Smits, who also (accompanying herself on ukulele) sings Richard Thompson's "God Loves a Drunk," a song particularly well-suited to this performance.
